In order to help cancer patients and their families know more about the prevention and treatment of cancer, a public welfare organization in Jiangsu held a lecture for cancer patients.
The Shang'ai Public Welfare Service Center in Kunshan City invited a local expert and chief physicians to popularize cancer knowledge at the Shang’ai Public Welfare Base on February 28, reported Kunshan CC&TSPM.
Ten volunteers were mobilized to serve 32 people, including cancer patients and their family members.
The recipients engaged in finger exercises before listening to a health lecture by Dr. Duan Guangjun, a specialist in the First People's Hospital of Kunshan's Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine. He provided knowledge about health protection in winter and spring, involving theoretical knowledge and practical life advice.
During the interactive session, the participants engaged in a health quiz, with those who answered correctly receiving small prizes.
Providing diagnostic advice, doctors conducted health monitoring, such as blood pressure measurements, for the recipients, allowing participants to have a better understanding of their physical condition.
