On November 14, Changchun CC&TSPM in Jilin Province elected its new executive committee, first board of supervisors, and leadership team.
According to Changchun CC&TSPM, the 11th Representative Conference of Changchun Christianity brought together 107 representatives from across the city to review the achievements of the past five years and plan for the next five-year period.
The conference elected the 11th Committee of the Changchun Municipal CC&TSPM and its leadership, establishing the city's first Supervisory Board. Liang Xiaoying was elected chairperson of the municipal TSPM, supported by six vice chairpersons, with Li Hai serving as secretary general. Chen Xihe was elected president of the municipal CC, alongside six vice presidents, with Li Hai also appointed general secretary. Wang Baoxian was elected chair of the Board of Supervisors.
During the meeting, Rev. Liang Xiaoying, on behalf of the 10th Standing Committee, delivered a work report highlighting the systematic promotion of the sinicization of Christianity in Changchun.
The conference approved the 10th Standing Committee's work report and the revised charters of the Changchun Municipal TSPM and CC and issued the "Initiative of Changchun Christianity on Promoting Full and Strict Governance of Christianity and Establishing Proper Faith, Conduct, and Integrity."
