Jiangxi Bible School held a week-long event on "Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction for Green Development" from November 12 to 19, featuring educational programs, campus initiatives, knowledge competitions, and expert lectures.
According to the host, during the event, students viewed energy conservation promotional videos and engaged in discussions on practical ways to incorporate low-carbon practices into daily life.
On November 14, teachers and students participated in campus cleanup and waste-sorting activities to promote environmental responsibility.
Three days later, the school organized a knowledge competition on energy conservation and low-carbon living, covering topics such as national carbon peaking and carbon neutrality policies, energy transition, carbon footprint calculation, and practical low-carbon skills.
On November 19, experts from the Jiangxi Provincial Center for Comprehensive Health Education delivered a lecture explaining the role of energy conservation and carbon reduction in advancing ecological civilization and exploring how low-carbon practices can align with faith-based principles.
Jiangxi Bible School is a full-time Christian institution under the support of Jiangxi Provincial CC&TSPM. Its origins trace back to the fall of 1992, when the "Jiangxi Pastoral Training Class" was established in a small attic of Zhidao Church in Nanchang. The institution was renamed Jiangxi Bible School in 2011, becoming a two-year secondary Christian institute, and was officially upgraded to a three-year associate theological college in June 2015. Currently, the school offers a three-year associate degree program, a two-year secondary program, a one-year theological preparatory course, and a variety of training classes. It provides nearly 80 courses, including ideological and political education, general studies, and specialized theological subjects.
