A female clergyman was ordained as a pastor, being the second pastor in a Zhejiang church.
Ni Xiaolu, a female believer in Banshan Church in Hangzhou, was assigned as a pastor at Sicheng Church on December 6, according to Banshan Church.
Baptized at the age of 16, Ni graduated from the Department of Sociology at Jiangnan University in 2012 and from the Nanjing Union Theological Seminary in 2016. Since then, she has been serving at Banshan Church. The deacon’s meeting was held to discuss her ordination, and all members agreed and passed the resolution unanimously.
Currently, she is responsible for the ministry of Bible study in the Four Haves Fellowship (youth and middle-aged gathering), devotions in the health department, and service in the choir, projection team, and intercession registration department.
Ni’s parents are both veteran believers at the church, and her husband, Mr. Wang, is a bridge designer who plays the piano well. He is currently the pianist in the choir at Sicheng Church and also supports Pastor Ni’s ministry.
