An ordination ceremony was conducted at a church in Shandong, with four clergywomen ordained.
During the ordination service held at Jiangsu Road Church on May 19, Rev. Dong Meiqin delivered a sermon encouraging those being ordained to humble themselves and bear witness to Christ's suffering, so as to receive an unfading crown of glory, reported Shandong TSPM.
After questioning the candidates about the reaffirmation of their ordination vows, the pastorate formed by leaders of Shandong CC&TSPM and Qingdao CC&TSPM ordained one female pastor, six male pastors, and three female elders, presenting them with clerical stoles and bibles.
